Orlando is a shopper's paradise.  There are many shopping outlets with huge choice at fantastic prices.  You can literally shop till you drop in the following places:

The Florida Mall—About 30 minutes drive away on the Orange Blossoom Tree Road in Kissimmee.  One of the largest shopping mall in Florida.

Belz Factory Outlet World—Near International Drive about 20 minutes away.  Mostly clothes and shoes at factory prices (as the name suggests).

Orlando Premium Outlets - Famous name brand at really low prices.  10 minutes away.

Lake Buena Vista Factory Stores—Slightly nearly than Belz (about 10 minutes from the house and just off the Interstate 4 motorway/Hwy.

The Mercado—

Walmart—these are super center stores offering nearly everything imaginable in one very large place.  These stores scattered along most highway with the nearest one being on the HWY 27 about 15 mins from Windwood Bay.

Publix Super Market— These supermarkets are smaller than Walmart but their quality is slightly better (a bit like comparing Tesco with Waitroses in the UK).  There is one store located within a couple of minutes drive from Windwood Bay at Champions Gate. 

Walgreens—These are similar to Boots in the UK.  Most are opened 24 hrs a day.  There is also one at Champions Gate, about 2 minutes drive from the house.
